Health and happiness: these two things are top of mind for St. Vincent Health! Together with Lake County Build a Generation and Lake County Public Health, we’re collaborating on the countywide Health & Happiness Project and we’re seeking your partnership and participation.
We’re asking residents to weigh in with a short online survey and/or community meeting. The information gathering process will help us determine which social, environmental and economic factors have the greatest impact on the health and well-being of locals of all ages.
We’ll assess the research results and set priorities in a plan to address the most pressing identified issues that influence health and happiness in Lake County.
There are three ways to help:
1. Have 15 minutes? Take the survey in English or Spanish and share it with people you live or work with. The survey is voluntary and you remain anonymous.
2. Apply to be a Community Connector! If you can commit to helping for three months, we are seeking people with strong community connections to help us reach youth, seniors, and Spanish-speaking residents. If you or someone you know someone who would be a good fit for these compensated positions, please share the application in English or Spanish. Applications are being accepted through August 31.
3. Apply to the Steering Committee! The Steering Committee will spread the word about the project, identify priorities, and help community partners be accountable to their commitments. To apply, please contact Hannah Guilford at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks in advance for your help in making this project a success. Together, we’re working to make Lake County a happy, healthy place to be born, grow up, raise a family and grow old.
